We are clearly in the beginning stages. With all fingers crossed, hopefully this club will turn into something functional. As of right now, we'll be inputting various features as we go along.

The Staff

will stick mainly to photomanipulation and all poetry that rhymes and is largely responsible for updates and new features

is in charge of literature-based deviations and public relations, along with collaboration efforts

will field all photography-related aspects of this organization

is the go-to girl for all traditional forms of art

Just a brief update: we have a new folder called Failed Concepts. If you have one you'd like to submit for others to attempt to remake, feel free. You can also use it if it isn't necessarily failed, but you'd like to see how others bring it to life, feel free :]

The Battle of the Bands Contest
January's event will have members choose a team based on the band each admin has selected and this month's prompts will be inspired by the band's songs or song titles. If you don't listen to the bands, we will be allowing one suggestion via the members, that way we don't end up with forty teams. If you're still unfamiliar with the bands, this could be a perfect opportunity to listen to some new music! At the end of the event, the winning team will be awarded prizes that have yet to be decided on. The people who contribute the most, however, will be awarded subscriptions.
To sign up for a specific band, simply note =Agent-Angel with your selection

The Guilty Pleasure Challenge
Go ahead, anything you can think of from a photo of you putting ranch on your pizza to short story fantasy you can't possibly tell your significant other.
You can submit your contribution to our email, artistic_advancement@hotmail.com, (I could be wrong, though.) and we'll look it over from that.
If I left any information out, which I'm sure I did, feel free to note us.
Just have fun! That's what this challenge is about. Be creative and don't be shy!

Themes Challenge
Every month we will give a new theme. January's theme is "House and Home". December's theme is "Linguistics." November's was "Last Impressions."
We also have a list of themes posted [link] All submissions into these will be featured and critiqued

The Guilty Pleasure Challenge.We all have those dirty little secrets that we keep to ourselves, those delightful little twinges of enticement that we'd rather drop dead than explain to anyone. Well, we figured that it'd be healthy to let out some of that pent up amusement.

Mini-Contest 1It was without a doubt the coldest day of the year.
After hours of walking down sidewalks and across busy streets, she'd come home unemployed and unsatisfied. Her heating had been turned off, so she carefully pulled out every jacket and blanket she could find and lay down on the bed, curling up underneath the mound of material.
She tossed one way and then turned the other, visions of her day rushing her mind in an all out assault.

Just as it seemed she was about to cry, a small switch flipped in her mind and exhaustion overcame her. Her muscles relaxed and she Mini-Contest 1

"Alright, so the basis of this contest is to use the bands discography to inspire deviations
I would suggest writing down all of their songs and coming up with a small concept for each while listening to them
when you post one, send it in and hopefully, by the end, we will have pieced together the bands entire discography or at least a greater portion than the other's
be sure to submit them into the Battle of the Bands folder in favorites I believe that way we can keep track!
